But seeing it from above is much more. There are 2 popular ways to get these views: the mountain of Machu Picchu or Wayna Picchu. The latter is the most popular and most requested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To make the ascent to one of these mountains, you need an extra ticket, which has to be bought.  Well in advance, since there is little availability of spaces and many people want to visit these places.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\">DETAILS OF SCHEDULES AND AVAILABILITY.<\/span><\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you make an alternate route to the Inca Trail, the cost of the ticket is U$.60 dollars, but it has to be purchased together with the entrance to <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/salkantayexpeditions.com\/en\/machu-picchu-by-train-full-day\/\">Machu Picchu<\/a> <\/strong>+ Wayna picchu or Machu Picchu + Mountain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#90c22a\" class=\"has-inline-color\"><strong>Entrance to Machu Picchu + Wayna picchu = Available<\/strong><\/mark><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#90c22a\" class=\"has-inline-color\"><strong>Entrance to Machu Picchu + Mountain = Available<\/strong><\/mark><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If you do the Inca Trail, the cost of admission is U$:60, it is not possible to buy the Inca Trail ticket with these 2 alternatives, you must necessarily buy another entrance ticket to Machu Picchu with Wayna Picchu or Machu Picchu. Here are the main circuits available:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Circuit 1 (Panoramic Route)<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Circuit 1-A: Machu Picchu Mountain Route<\/strong>: Offers panoramic views from the Guardian House sector but does not include access to the main Inca constructions. The hike is moderate to high in difficulty and takes about 4 hours round trip.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Circuit 1-B: Upper Terrace Route<\/strong>: Easy route allowing classic postcard photos from the Guardian House viewpoint. Takes about 2.5 hours.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Circuit 1-C: Intipunku Gate Route<\/strong>: Available only in high season. Moderate difficulty with some stairs, taking about 2 hours round trip.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Circuit 1-D: Inca Bridge Route<\/strong>: Available only in high season. Easy route taking about 2 hours\u200b.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Circuit 2 (Machu Picchu Ticket)<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Classic Designed Route (2-A)<\/strong>: Comprehensive tour through the upper and urban sectors, including Intihuatana, the Temple of the Sun, and the Temple of the Condor. This route is long and highly recommended for a full experience of Machu Picchu.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Lower Terrace Route (2-B)<\/strong>: Focuses on the lower part, including the Qolqas, Water Fountains, and Water Mirrors, with an option to take photos similar to the classic ones\u200b.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Circuit 3 (Huayna Picchu Route)<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Huayna Picchu Mountain Route<\/strong>: Accesses the lower part and includes a hike up Wayna Picchu. This circuit does not allow classic postcard photos.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Royalty Designed Route (3-B)<\/strong>: Focuses on the urban sector without extra hikes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Great Caves Route<\/strong>: Takes about 3 hours and is only available in high season, including a hike to the Great Caves.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Huchuy Picchu Route<\/strong>: Available only in high season, includes a hike to Huchuy Picchu\u200b\u200b\u200b (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pachaexpeditions.com\/blog\/current-circuits-for-machu-picchu-from-june-1-2024\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Pacha Expeditions<\/a>)\u200b.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Circuit 5<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Designed for visitors arriving via the Inca Trail.
