Humantay Lagoon Trek (or Laguna Humantay) is a stunning turquoise glacial lake. Nestled high in the Peruvian Andes, in the region of Cusco. It’s located at the base of the majestic Humantay Mountain. It rises as part of the Vilcabamba mountain range, a sub-range of the Andes. The lake is situated at an elevation of approximately 4,200 meters (13,800 feet) above sea level.

Humantaya Lagoon Trek:
The path is steep and can be tiring, especially due to the thin air.
It usually takes 1–1.5 hours up and 30–45 minutes down.
You’ll walk through a scenic valley, surrounded by the Salkantay and Humantay mountains.
Some people rent horses for part of the way.
